Electrical Engineer
Electronic and Communications Circuit Design

What I do

I work with embedded electronic circuit designs. These devices do not necessarily have a display or keypad, but read various sensors and use these measurements to control machines or report the data on a remote terminal. I do complete designs, from a functional definition to prototype circuits and systems. Documentation is generated, including schematics, block diagrams, theory of operation, Gerber files (for PC boards), etc. I use Eagle from CADSoft to design schematics and PC boards. I use a variety of Microchip microcontrollers. I code in C for portability, using available debug tools. I use local manufacturing helps, such as contract manufacturers and PC board fabricators. I am a Microchip Design Partner.

I uphold the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) Code of Ethics (IEEE Ethics).

I have taken the Obligation of the Engineer (Obligation of the Order of the Engineer).
